SCFE operates more than two dozen locomotives moving upwards of 1,000 railcars per day. We are a convenient and reliable carrier you can count on to be there.

Not your average Short Line Railroad...

SCFE is home to more than a dozen customers. Our customers enjoy dual access, meaning they can ship through CSX or NS/FEC, enabling them the freedom to ship through either East Coast Class I railroad. We handle a variety of commodities, including: Aggregates, Building Products, Fertilizers, Grains, Metals, Molasses, Petroleum Products, and Sugar.

Each rail car can hold 40 tons of sugarcane—about one acre’s worth.

Our network consists of over 300 miles of railroad and operate 5 days a week. We maintain our railroad to high standards, reinvesting in our infrastructure every year, all to support our customers.
